when will he take the exam an with who will he take it

NO ONE!I think he stays a genin...I don't really see an advance,but then again,I don't read the manga....XD

if he did become chunin he would have to beat konohamaru or the kid wit the snotty nose

but it would mean he would be dropped frm his team caus while he is doin exam his team r dwn one person

maybe he doesn't have a time to take the exams...

The way I see it, he'll become a Chunin at random, or at the 5ths say. He might just do some crazy hard mission, then get promoted. Thats what I think. But, then again he might just stay a Genin and skip to Jonin. XD

My guess is that when he takes the exam, he does it cuz something special's happening.. Like a person who entered is very suspicious or something ^^

The same way Sakura did? She wasn't a part of a three-man cell, but she still advanced (too bad we don't know for sure how she advanced). We know the exam is coming up though since Temari and Shikamaru are planning for it...the manga hasn't gotten to that point yet either, but I like the current story-line better than the Chunnin exams to tell you the truth.

I think the chuunin exam they talked about was allready done, I think he said "it was just around the corner" or something like that *can't remember for sure*

& I think that Sakura took it with the other genins that should take it too

Did it really pass? I know we got sidetracked from Konoha with Akatsuki attacking the Sand Village...etc, etc...so we never saw it happen. Oh well, it's 3 times a year I think, so yet another should be coming up. Hopefully Naruto isn't too busy.

maybe sakura and others became chuunin by a recommendation from other higher shinobis (chuunin/jounin/hokage)....and not by taking the chuunin exam.....

There are two ways to become a Chunin and a Jonin.
Chunin - Take the Chunin Exam/Be recommended by a higher shinobi
Jonin - Recommended by higher shinoni/An examination by the Hoksge/ninja council

Anywayz i heard when kakashi was trying to find naruto's element he said in order to become a Jonin you must have mastered one element

yeah that makes sense he will get recomendations from all the higher ninjas and gaaras got his back jirayas got his back and kakashi and his new teacher guy whos name eascapes me you know the one with the head gear and that holds the kyuubi down for naruto... all of these people have to give good recomendations for him to become a jounin automatically...

So far, the only one that becomes a chuunin is Shikamarou in the series, i dont like the manga so i dont read it lol

its gonna take him some time to become a chuunin... coz after this gaara rescue arc... he'll go into training with kakashi... then maybe another gigantic mission... then under special circumstances, he gets promoted to chuunin or jounin or watever...

or maybe after he does all that stuff they make him be the first ever ninja to go straight from genin to hokage

ya, hokage has no real prerequsites, You are either like in the previous's will, to take over, or like the head ninja that are there decide you are best suited like how they wanted jiraya

Don't know...hope Naruto biomes a chunnin soon. He is the last genin of his age...And now he has junin level sills (well, he had one form the start...shadow clone)

He should be a chunin or even mabye a jounin because he has been training with Jiyra for2.5 years. he is bound to be amazing

Kabuto and Sasuke are still genins but they are jounin level ninjas just like Naruto, right. Correct me if i'm wrong.

he's wind... the kyuubi's chakra being red in color doesn't make it fire(i think) even though if naruto uses the kyuubi's chakra too much he says that it's burning his skin...

yep he did... one requirement to become a jounin, is to have at least 2 elements of chakra... but wait...

I believe that Kakashi said "most" jounins have 2 elements, not that it's required.

if mastering the elements is crucial to becoming a higher rank,then what is everyone else's elements?!all I know is that naruto is wind,the hokage's elements,and Sasuke's possible fire elements...what does everyone else have?!

so far, this are only characters i know that has a chakra nature... not sure of the others coz i'm lazy to look for charcters who has elements...

Its a bit unfair for naruto to have to take the chuunin exam considering he is pretty much jounin level in strength.

naruto and sasuke are the only genins, i think, not required to take the chuunin exams. they would be most likely jounin levels.

i think the entire series would end, having naruto and sasuke the only "genins" to keep up with most "kage" level opponents.

i don't know about gaara, but it wasn't mentioned that he became jounin level before becoming kazekage. so, in theory, he is the first genin to become a kage (not naruto to be hokage)

Naruto has no need to do hand signs for the Rasengan because it was created by the fourth. All it is, is a massive chakra ball, spinning in a sphere. And of course, his chakra element is Wind. No hand signs needed for that. Sasuke had to start out with Hand signs for the Chidori, but because of his mastery of the Justu he has no need for hand signs either.

Gaara was a Joinin. He moved up to Kazekage through Naruto's training. It was shown in the Anime before the time-skip.

I think Naruto will just skip to Hokage. They've been neglecting his rank so far, and it doesn't matter really. Seeing how the Manga is intense right now rank is a penny.

i don't know that... well, i remembered that 3 shinobi from of the sand became chuunin. but i never heard gaara becoming a jounin before the time skip (can you tell me what episode? or what manga chapter?)

yeah, i agree. rank doesn't matter, its the outcome of the fight that matters.

I think the last Gaara episodes shown before the skip was 215-220. I'm not sure if they all are, but somewhere in between. They were fillers, so I just watched like 3 of them Lol.

Not just the outcome, but the aftermath. I think Kakashi will become the Next Kage of Konoha. (Of course) And who knows, I might be wrong. Naruto might move up during that period. I doubt Kakashi, as Hokage, would allow Naruto to stay as a Genin. He knows Naruto well, and considering he was his Sensei and he knows Naruto's strengths, he'll probably just bumb Naruto up to Jonin. But It's late, I had coffee so I'm just blabbering. XD

Nope. The Chunin exam was disrupted by the destruction of Konoha. Sasuke's battle was interrupted so it didn't count.

Nature manipulation and elemental manipulation both mastered and combined by Naruto (a feat that even Minato wasn't able to do)

And even if there are two element requirements im sure naruto can master another one like he did with wind.

naruto stays genin until 2nd series but every one else becomes chunin. second series takes place 2 or 3 years later and naruto is off training with geria for that time. every one is older and most look different

wouldn't that be unfair for others if he takes the chunnin exam, seeing that on the first exam, he went really far, and given the chance he could of won the chunnin. also i think u can automatically be hokage by by being the strongest in the village.
