i don't know whats the matter, but i cant share my internet connection to another pc... (my OS is winXP, both PC's are using sp2)

i have a laptop that connects through the internet, im using a dsl modem. the modem is connected to my 3Com Lan card. i works properly, in the TCP/IP property tab of the lan card, general tab, obtain IP address automatically and obtain DNS server automatically is checked.

my laptop has an extra smart card slot. so i bought a Xircom smart card to create a network for the other desktop.

The desktop pc's lancard is D-Link.

What should i do so that my desktop pc can also have an internet connection via networking with Xircom Lan card? i placed obtain "automatically" for IP and DNS server for D-Link, while i gave 192.168.0.1 to my Xircom Lan card. I also checked "allow other network users to connect to this internet connection" with my 3Com lan card. 3Com lan card cannot connect through the internet if i dont assign it as DHCP.

what should i do????
