I guess its about time I make a gallery to show everyone what ive made.

Lets start in order. I made a handful of signatures in the last month or so:

My Bleach signature. Not the best render, but since then ive found better places to get them:



Then I found out about the transparent sections of the signature and thought of my Hunter x Hunter concept:



It looked terrible, so I fixed it with this. Colors are very conflicting, but I could probably change that:



A Haruhi sig I quickly made after getting an idea from somewhere:



Then I made a Code Geass one of Lelouch and made 2 versions because the edges were a little rough on the first:

Got a great idea, but didnt follow through very well. A particularly interesting response to this one (Mushishi):



Then a sig I made for a Haruhi competition. Not too original on my part, but I liked the idea after trying out the layered backgrounds:



On to the Berserk one. I really like the idea, but the render is kind of bad quality like the anime. I since then found the same render but colored in a lot better, ill probably redo this one:



PANTERA! Took a break from anime to produce this one. Im a big metalhead (note my name), so I thought it was necessary to give credit to these guys, im thinking of making a few more metal signatures next:



After the darker Pantera background, I found a nice Death Note render I had to use:



To finish it up, I made another bleach one of Ichigo in bankai. Kinda boring imo and didnt come out as good as it could have. It needs something, although I like the background:



So thats about it for now. Im not happy with most of them, but I guess ill get a little better sometime

Made a new one. Made another metal one, and I think it is really cool. Its from the album art of Iced Earth's Horror Show (incredible album btw). I would like feedback on this too:

Tim who? Did they really get rid of the Ripper already? Or do you mean Barlow or Christy?

edit: Why do they always look different in PS? It looked better when I was editing it, but im agreeing with you. I definitely have to touch it up though.

Tim was the guitarist who did all the music for the coming EP, and recorded a load of things for the forthcoming album, dunno if they'll use his stuff though. I'm a big fan of his due to him running Bare Knuckle Pickups.

Contrast is too low to go with the brightness - Should have used curves instead of brightness/contrast.

What happened to him then? Did Schaffer just kick him out them? Guitarists are replaceable (according to Schaffer, and since John writes most of the music in Iced Earth, I believe this to be so), but a vocalist like Matt Barlow should not have been replaced.

Ill fix it again, I knew I didnt get it quite right. Why dont you ever comment on how you feel about it though? Your posts are like the cons part of a critique

edit: Do I pass? Ill keep editing it until I get it right, I feel like I deserve to give tribute to one of my favorite bands.

I dont know, I always considered Iced Earth's best guitarist Schaffer. He doesnt play solos or anything, but I love his rythym.

Schaffer is average.

Anyway, the sig is overly cluttered, and the dark areas are too dark.

Text is good, although move it from over the render.

Background can't be seen due to it being too dark.

Loss of clarity due to over saturation on the render.

Could go on, but although the idea of the sig was good, the blend is just blinding.

My original idea was a totally black background, but then I figured I would add a bit of something else in to give a cool look. I still like it, its bright and colorful, yet dark and cool at the same time. I wonder if I will ever make a signature that could survive one of your critiques?

edit: I have to comment on your Schaffer comment. Hes definitely not average. I mean, hes not John Petrucci (probably your favorite guitarist), nor can he shred like Nevermore's Loomis, but he can keep a rythym like no other. I dont think you understand how good he really is if your going to call him average. And dont think im just a fanboy who overrates everything I like, the man really is an excellent guitarist.

Petrucci's ace, but not really my fave. (Although a damn good guess, why did you guess him?)

I wouldn't say Schaffer's crap, but there are ALOT of better guitarists, and Tim leaving isn't a good thing.

Tim was with them for such a short time, that he never even played a live show with them as far as im concerned (definitely not a tour).

I could tell you why I guessed Petrucci. Your a critique. The way you rate things are definitely from a critique's standpoint. Your favorite anime, your choice in signatures, everything has to have that certain something that a critique would enjoy. Petrucci is an incredible musician, along with everyone in Dream Theater. They are all mega-talented and play very orchestrated music, with interesting scales and weird time signatures. They have everything a critique would enjoy. But a music listener like me goes for emotion and feel. Sure Petrucci could play circles around Dime, but is he a better guitarist? Based totally on skill, yes, Petrucci blows him away, but his playing is soul-less. Ill use that word again, but their music is very pretentious.

Im definitely not saying Schaffer is among the top guitarists, but he has a wicked style like no other which has a lot of feel. Hes got more feel than Petrucci will ever have, and can write an amazing song. John Petrucci cannot write a song, but can wank extremely well.

If im gonna name a top guitarist, im going with Jeff Loomis. Hes got feel and extreme skill. Satriani too.

I can tell you haven't heard much Petrucci, because of all Shredder's he's one of the more emotional. He doesn't put much speed into his work, unlike people like Rusty Cooley, etc.

And I never said Petrucci was my fave did I? Infact, I do perfer Dime to Petrucci, although Dime's stuff has even less emotion that Petruccis - I just prefer the more casual and chaotic playing, it's alot like the kind of stuff I play myself.

Personally my fave gutiarist would have to be Jason Becker or Satch. Becker cos I think he's simply legendary in his technique, and Satch because he's the only solo guitarist which manages to come out with good Melodies. Listen to Surfing with the Alien if you wanna get my drift.

Your image of Petrucci is ridiculously flawed, so I won't bother arguing with you on that - You're just wrong.

and when i made it a PNG the part that i erased was still there, it was gray, and i hide the background like you told me too......don't know why it didn't work

How many layers did you have and from which layer were you trying to erase from? Did you see that checkered background I was talking about? When you see that, that means it is clear. If you still cant figure it out, I guess I could send you a sample PSD file to open up and look at the different layers.

And also Eternal - Of all the music I listen to, Dream Theater is the most easy listening. Listen to the album Train of Thought.

It's amazing, and not just critically.

lets see.....i think i had about 10 layers and i erased all the layers with the render and yeah i got to the checkered background, oh and is there something that guides you when you erase? bc my erasing skill sucks!!! the part that was being erased were uneven

Heh, some of them suck a lot, but I dont think all but two do. Well maybe they do, but I kinda like the Death Note one I made too. The rest need work, but I would rather move on than tweak a sub-par piece of work. Im gonna slow down a bit, as a lot of them were made in the same day, and im going to plan it out more. I will try and only release something that is signature worthy.

Pantera, Geass, Haruhi, and Yuki are your best.

The Iced Earth one is technically good, but needs tweaking.

Thanks. I thought it turned out rather nicely, except for a few things. Something seems to be missing right around where the pentagram is. It needs a little something extra, but i cant quite place it. There is always something missing

Joking, this is a signature I made a long time ago. I made it cause I wanted a Hellsing sig, even though I never made a sig before, nor did I focus on style or blending.

Made a new one. This one was quite fun to make, as I used certain types of pics only for the background (do you wanna know?).

I was pretty high when tweaking the colors, so they may be off, so the usual. Would like comments and appraisals too



edit: I know it looks chopped off, and I can improve on that. I will do that tomorrow tho, was kinda out of it in the final adjustments and figured I would just post it now. I love the color scheme.

Needs a border and a slight reduction in brightness (use curves).

Other than that it's good - Strong render, clever text work, nice coordination, developed background however a bit unclear (probably for the best though...), tis good.

Obviously you should stop her head from being cut off, but w/e

Yay! Now I get to say somethings on your sigs! lol but really, the first few are OK not bad but ok The other few a pretty good tho but your most recent one is nice but really simple, don't get me wrong the simple look is rather clean and the Iced Earth sig really good! I like it!

Ok, just made a new sig after a few days of studying. I need some critique on this one, I got to a certain point with it, and really thought I could do better. Im kind of stuck with it, although I think it came out pretty cool. I like it, but I always feel like that initially. So what do you think?

Yea, I wasnt the most satisfied with this one. I wanted to have the sword be in focus and Kenshin a little blurred to make it seem like the sword was in your face. In the end the render just sucked and I couldnt achieve the effect I was going for at my level of skills. Listening to King Diamond and Children of Bodom contributed to the Halloween look in the middle of April

It always takes a day later to look at it. Kinda cluttered and not tastily done, I dont like it at all now. I figured I would post all of the signatures I make, if im proud of them or not.

Made a new sig. Please give me some feedback, I always accept criticism and whatnot.

I like it. Although... I'm not sure on how to criticize it anyway. XD I can't explain it though. It's good, but....It kinda needs something. Sorry, no more criticizing Sigs this late for me anymore.

What do you mean contrasting the hair? One sig black and the other white you mean? If that is what your talking about, that is the original character design and was not my idea at all.
