A town is in catastrophe,
The men are burned by what they see,
Amazing sights of fire 'round,
Spewed from the mouth of Dragon Lound,
He kills all folks, and eats their skins,
Destroys their homes, with his sharp fins,

The town needs one, who's strong and bold,
To kill the beast, make his flame cold,
But no one lives, with this great might,
For everyone, shakes in Lound's sight,

But one day, yes, this happens true,
And not just one, but instead two,
They call themselves, the Great Machay,
With swords a-gleam, and shields at bay,

They rush at him and swing their metal,
But, though it hits, it does not settle,
Lound laughs at them, and says so sly,
"You can't kill me, I will not die."

They just ignore, and think a way,
To kill this bore, and save the day,
Towards the beast, they rush much quicker,
The fool does not, see their blades flicker,

One knight goes left, the other right,
One finds the tail, one stays to fight,
The knight who's name, was Nam fights Lound,
The named knight, Gam, just stays around,

Nam just escapes from, death's soft touch,
Avoiding flames, and Lound's strong clutch,
While Gam looks for, the towns-folks' sake,
A way for Lound's, quietus make,

At last he finds, where Lound is weak,
A tiny hole, atop the peak,
Of his huge wing, 'bout 12 yards high,
"But how can I, I'm not the sky!"

He makes a plan and tells his friend,
They both jump up, and try to bend,
Their shiny swords, in such a way,
That they be flung, to save the day,

Right on target, both blades go in,
The very point, of Lound's weak skin,
He yells out loud, in horrid pain,
Then turns to ash, not seen again,

The townsfolk cheer and shout hurray,
While Gam and Nam, in bed just lay,
Before the sun comes up with light,
Both Nam and Gam leave town and sight,

No one forgets the great Machay,
It's kept in tales, right to this day.
