I am going on a 2 week trip to India, with probably nothing to do for 1.5 weeks there. Also, the hours and hours of traveling on a planne will also be horribly boring. I need someone to reccommend me some good anime to watch while there and on the plane.

Yu Yu Hakusho
Get Backers
Prince of Tennis

I would like some comedy, action, or adventure... but no romance or horror.

Try Blood+

yea, everyone says Blood+ is good

Death note, although it is not complete there are 22 episodes so far I think, It is really good for 15+ episodes, then it kinda gets a little boring, but its starting to get better..

Oh and Basilisk - that is complete and it is AWESOME, it has got 26 episodes I think.

FullMetal Alchemist is also good. so in Summary:

I dont really recommend Blood+. I thought it was kind of boring. I really dont think it would be what your looking for.

I was never impressed, but Inuyasha is a really popular shounen that you would probably enjoy, considering all of the anime you listed.

Rurouni Kenshin is also a must see, not sure if you have seen that or not.

The Full Metal Panic series are pretty good too, if your open to a little mecha. The Fumoffu series is hilarious and not part of the storyline, so it is great for some comedic relief. Watch the first series beforehand though, as you will understand the characters better.

I second the Full Metal Alchemist suggestion, a very interesting story. A bit on the sad side, but really good nontheless.

I highly recommend NHK, it is definitely the funniest series I have ever seen. Dont pay attention to the reviews (it doesnt rate very high for some unknown reason), this is really funny.

For the plane ride, I would suggest maybe a short OVA series or something or an anime movie. Unless you dont have a portable player/laptop to bring on the plane with you. Although I highly suggest that you bring your laptop with you on the plane, not a great thing to have in luggage.

BLOOD+ ROCKES IS SO AMAZIMG WATCH IT ITS ABOUT 50 EPS AND THE REAL STORY MAY BEGAN 0N EPS 20 + SO DONT STOP WATCHING IT BEFORE GETTING THERE !!!! WHATCH IT, ITS REALLY WHAT U CALL AMAZING !!!!!!

I just finished watching Last Exile, and while far from the best series, it's rather gripping, and definetly hard to stop watching once you've started.

I was blown away by Ergo Proxy, Ghost in the Shell, FMP, the first 40 episodes of Eueka 7, Bleach's SS arc, Haruhi, and currently thoroughly enjoying Code Geass, which is an absolutely top notch anime imo.

ummm elemental u made a recomendation about hiraku no go and hunter x hunter which were like classics as u said and i hope the author finshes hunter x hunter soon but do u have ne other reconmendation that deal in basic things like how in bleach and naruto the main character gets stronger and deal with people who wanna kill him and stuff like that that deal in energy blast that type of stuff i manage to find one everynow and then i guess im limiting myself since i only watch most animes like this.. =/ i know theres ton of good animes that arent like this but its just what i like.


ive seen bleach, inuyasha,naruto yu yuhakusho, hunter x hunter, the entire DBZ seris ,kiba ,one piece and that pretty much all i can think of now but can u reconmend some anime like this please or even some anime like lupin the third...ive seen case closed but after awhile it get kinda boring i think they went overboard with the whole 500+ episodes thing of nothing but solving mysterys.. also i think thisll help in aiding in giving ideas for other people viewing this thread =D also what anime is the guy in ur display from? with the scyhthe.

If u just want slapstick comedy with quite a nice story but most importantly loads of jokes get Inukami. Else try Death Note, but dun get Blood+ it is REALLY boring (i was a loyal follower) and seriously not worth the 50 eps !!
Or try getting Magical Lyrical Nanoha, it is quite nice although im not into that kind of anime-category but still was quite interesting!!
