Those rumors come in waves it seems. People have been saying that for a long time. I personally think Rin is just 'Out of the picture'. I don't think she's dead or in Akatsuki. If you read the manga, It shows Obito die and it says the 4th died sealing the Kyuubi. His soul was sucked out to do it. I doubt he IS the AL.

All it says on Naruto-kun about Rin is she was a medical ninja and she had a bit of a crush on Kakashi.
Wikipedia and Narutocenteral don't have too much info either. But, then again, we don't know much about Kakashi other then what Gaiden tells us.

I'm starting to doubt the theory about her being a member.
I was looking everywhere for infomation. Theres only 9 members of Akatsuki.

Looking at the pictures from the Manga, It doesn't look like Rin. Rin looks like Sakura. This unnamed character doesn't have the same eye shape or anything. If Rin's eyes were less round I wouldn't have as much doubt. I don't know. That's just my oppinion. It's just based on 2 pictures so, You guys can draw your own conclusions.

Was there is a probable chance that she is the Blue Haired Chick in Akatsuki, but she could the one Purple hair chick too. I would love it if she were in Akatsuki though. When Kakashi saw her, he would be like, "Oh, I thought you died of a whorish fiend of molesting fate."

Rin is not in the anime... but i think she was in the manga series not quite sure...

Rin is the medical ninja in Kakashi's group when they were young. along with Obito who was a ichiha with the sharingan.. their sensei was i think the 4th hokage back then..
Rin had a massive crush on Kakashi and was like team 7 Kakashi = Sasuke, Rin = Sakura, Obito = Naruto in personality.

they came across trouble and Kakashi got his left eye injured by the enemy trying to save Obito...
Obito was left 1/2 dead by the enemy and asked rin to transplant his left eye sharingan to Kakashi using her medical jutsu. Obito died and now Kakashi has a sharingan.

after that she just disappeared and noone knows what happened to her i believe she has short pink hair as well...

that about sums it up i think..

The light shading of her hair suggests that Rin has a light hair color and medium eyes. Meaning she could have pink hair like Sakura or a blondish color. Her eyes could possibly be almost the same as Tsunade's eye color, since they are shaded in almost the same way. They could also be a medium teal, green, or other medium-dark colors.


This screenshot suggests her hair is of a blondish color. I found this on Wikipedia. I'm checking to confirm this picture is valid right now.

If Rin is around Kakashi's age, which is 26 in Part one, What are the chances she has a 12-13 year old daughter? I'm not saying there is no way she could be related to Sakura. Rin has no family name, so we have no way of telling of which family she belongs. She could very well have been older then Kakashi in Gaiden. So there is a posibility of her being Haruno Rin, and being Sakura's mother.





The statement is confirmed. He did use the word "Friends" when talking to Sasuke. Which would lead you to believe his statement included Rin. I'm not saying she isn't dead. I also am not saying she is. I'm just saying Kakashi's statement could have included Rin.

you have a point there for the mother thing bc my mother is 26yr. old and she has me a 12yr. old daugther so yes it is a good thing to ponderr but if that then No she is not Haruno Sakura's mother because what Ninja would get pregent at age 16 and then have the baby at age 17 and contnue to be a medicnin and go on S ranked mission's and it is a good point about the picture also

When Yondiame saved Kakashi in the Kakashi Gaiden arc he pretty much told Kakshi right there that he was the only one that he was able to save.

If you remember, Kakashi and Rin where surrounded by Jounins from an enemy country while on an infiltration mission, this is right after Obito is smashed.

Kakashi raises his kunai prepared to fight with all his strenght becaues "to protect Rin" was Obito's final wish to Kakashi. Next thing you know they jump him and he wakes up with just the yondiame by his side and is told he was alerted by the kunai he was holding and he killed off all the enemies. Rin was alive then and looking to the sky but they never showed her about to die.

I wish they would go into more of his past.

I guess Rin's just forgotten for now. Just like Orichimaru's henchmen during the Chunnin exams. It's like they disappeared. I know some of them died... (or did they all die?) but Orichimaru's henchmen have disappeared after that. None of them named or shown.

yeah though her disappearance is still a mystery. Maybe during the Kakashi arc (when kishi focuses on kakashi for awhile) it will explain what happened to her, and maybe also why he left the ANBU.

And who knows how and when died the other relatives, but if they were all ninjas then probably died on the batlefield, his friends, teammates as well... But he didnt turn into an avenger...

Yep, Obito liked Rin, Rin liked Kakashi, and Kakashi was stone cold before Gaiden happened. It's assumed that Rin is dead.

He doesn't seem to hold any traits that pertain to her, actually. His lateness, his eye, his motto, they're all Obito. The mask was there eversince. He said his "bestfriend" was on the memorial to his team, single, not plural. Nothing points to Rin. He might have acknowledged her after Gaiden, but it would be because Obito asked him to take care of her.

Hopefully they were romantically involved, although that might be too much to ask. xD
