Everytime I download an anime in AVI format there is no video. It will only play sound, I have tryed it on 3 different players as well. 4 different downloads from 4 different places have had this problem.

Anyhelp?

did u try using classic media player?

Yes and it is still the same thing. I also tryed Hyplay, and ace media player.

Also, I converted avi files to rmvb, and they wouldn't even play the video as rm files. Still audio only.

When I download rm. from the start it is fine.

mm.. thats odd, did u google for a guide on these problems?

This sucks, I'm looking all over. I might just only search for rm.

Yup, because the problem is from your codecs!

Download the Combined Community Codec Pack!
It's the best thing to do!

you don't need to download any codecs....just use VLC player...it should be able to play AVI without having to download any new codecs

umm try GOM player!

If you don't want to download codecs, VLC player is da solution!

You basicly have two options as others already stated:

1) Install VLC Player and play the file through that
2) Download a install the DivX & XviD codecs, or just get CCCP and install all the codecs.
