Ok I know that the mods are doing their best to get rid of the scam and pornographic topics but so far it seems like it's been a losing battle.

A few of the topics being created seem to have many of the same characteristics (e.g. style of writing, etc...).

So is it possible for a mod or Vio to look up the ip of those posting these messages and block them? If it's the same few people posting this garbage over and over then it might help slow them down at least for a short while.

Also, (I know it was said in another topic but I can't help myself lol) a new mod or 2 who would be in charge of specifically eliminating the trash would be helpful.

Heck I'd even be willing to do it (I have been a mod before on other sites) in my spare time just to get all the nasty stuff from out in front of all the kids here.

Relax javz3. I'm sure no one intended to make you feel like you were personally attacked.

I'm sure that you can understand how annoying it is to constantly see p*** on this wonderful forum that so many of us enjoy.

The mods are obviously doing the best they can, but like I said earlier, it's a losing battle.

Maybe if enough people respond to this problem and complain about it, Vio will notice our request for more mods and then the current mods won't have to deal with the pressure of constantly getting rid of the garbage only for it to come back 10 times worse.

They are bots, its really hard to stop them. I keep deleting them every now and then.

I am searching for solutions as we type but its all automatic spam which is almost impossible to stop without major changes to the site code.

Guys this stuff needs to be blocked my family members abit younger get on here and there mom pretty much hates me and she would kill me if they viewed thta stuff actulay I would beat her to it it is sick to post thatr stuff here

pft. Bots suck. I didn't know the things could fill out the form and everything to make and account. That's pretty scary.

I know it would require a whole change of coding but how about adding an added security code on a picture (like they have on various web sites to verify that a bot is not being used) and then have each person who makes a new thread be required to enter the random number shown on the pic before the thread is posted.

That should get rid of the bots.

In the meantime, what about making a couple more mods to get rid of the nasty posts until a way around the bots is found?
