Whats a better browser? IE7 or FF2?

Post your opinion!
T250
i prefer firefox, because of all the plugins u can put in it. And the tabs.
sesoma0
firefox
why?
read above

ps:you forgot to put opera in it
DemonEyesBob
Firefox! biggrin.gif

And to the above post, is there really any reason to even offer opra? Firefox will always be ahead of IE b/c of the extensability; think about it, IE just finally added tabbing, and it's been 5 years since the last release, I doubt they even would've thought of tabbing if Firefox hadn't included it. Making it open source and allowing user-made extensions will keep Firefox at Number 1 for a long long time. The themes also kickass, go noia ;D. Better looks/interface, more capabilities, better logo, good terms with Google... what else could you want wink.gif

BlackDragon1299

hey pipo, forgot Opera!, and yes I use Opera. Between FF2 and IE7, better none, have you read de password stealing worm, guess not? ;> , however, down to business, GNU always, If they fixed the current issues + faster opening, my choice would be Firefox 2. hey, youtube pluggins are quite good smile.gif
afrokenshin
firefox all the way which other browser lets you customize as much as firefox not to mention firefox much safer.
Shakugan
Firefox havnt had any problems with it,decent addons find it alot more user(noob) friendly tongue.gif

siopawman

plus, its open source, free.
Docile
firefox ownage !! hahah
Jaro
Let see... ff2. But I also use opera when I want to change a scenery.

Havent used either, but I was always a firefox person myself. I dont know how the new IE is, but firefox has always been faster imo. Im getting a new computer like tomorrow of the next day (Dell is shipping it right now!), so I will get to test both Vista and IE7. I cant wait.
kingkaing
FIREFOX FIREFOX!! i would know since i've used both for the past month, and firefox is way better with its add-ons, yeah firefox
eternalmetal
Got the new Firefox, but have yet to see much of a difference from the previous release. Other than a revamped look, it seems pretty much identical to me. Which isnt that bad. Unless that red squiggly line under "isnt" is Firefox, then that is really damn cool.

edit: I checked it with another forum and it looks like Firefox officially has a spellcheck. Its about fuckin time, im sick of illiterates. Maybe if they use Firefox it might help with terrible spelling. Because of this feature, this new Firefox is automatically better. Although I am sure they have a spellcheck plugin.
jinhstrife
i still think firefox is better, it kind of blocks more things then other browsers with pop-up blocker on.
eternalmetal
Used both, Firefox takes the win here. I am now operating on my new computer, and had to go right to Firefox. I hated IE and I hate it just as much.
Unstoppable
firefox for sure
The Infamous ILC
definitely FF2, a whole lot less pop-ups, plus tabs, yay tabs

IE7 has tabs, and there are thousands of pop-up blockers that can be installed for IE. Not to sound like a supporter of IE (eeeww lol), but im just sayin. Firefox is a lot faster, even my computer illiterate mom saw a difference, and thats saying a lot.

I always use Konqueror and/or Opera. But nonetheless, I have only tried Internet Explorer a few times since I don't use a Windows OS (I'm a Linux/BSD person). With that being said, I'd go for Firefox between the two.
Crash2k
FF will always be the better browser IMO. Has been giving great features (plugins, better popup protection etc) far longer than IE. It's a pity that IE can't be uninstalled without screwing over messenger etc...at least IE6 anyways.
kingkaing
FF2 is the best, who voted for IE thats just wrong, better everything, and u can customize
thatguy
Firefox because of extensions and themes, I love them
and
Microsoft won't let me download IE7 because they think that my computer is cracked. In order to combat that I the only thing on my computer that I'm currently that's Microsoft is Windows (because I can't partition) and the task manager. I don't even run explorer.exe
HAHAHA-Take that insignificant blow MS
Crash2k
lol you wouldn't want it anyway! There are still security holes and I find the interface terrible >.<

I think IE7 does actually have some plugins. But there are very few and are actually quite crap. FF is lightyears ahead. I think IE only holds about 70%(?) of the market because IE6 comes bundled with Windoze tongue.gif
pikatsou
I use Opera but if it comes to theses two i'd say firefox, basically 'cause i don't like any ms software
kamikun
I am going to say that Firefox 2 is the shit, IE7 sucks
thatguy
firefox crashed randomly on me...or at least it used to until i started using BBLean instead of explorer.exe
Wyvernlink
Woo! Firefox!

use it all the time, well except at school because it doesn't work with the proxy there sad.gif

down with internet explorer!!!!!1!! tongue.gif
pancakeman1
FF2 all the way. IE7 sucks and should burn!...or be deleted from every computer in the world at least.
