Usually anime movies arent worth it, especially ones for anime series. They are usually terrible, but because it is usually like a 1.5 hour episode of someones favorite anime, they try and act like its good.

I have yet to see a truly great anime movie that even compared to a decent anime series. I will probably give Akira a chance though, it sounds interesting. I just find anime to be more interesting when time is spent on character development and plot twists, something you cant capture in an hour and a half.

Rehxephon,though this anime has a serie but if u just wanna watch th move there is no need for u watch serie in order to understand the move,move is totally different form serie.

I just mustered up the energy to watch an anime movie tonight (dramas take a lot out of you, not as easy to watch as a shounen), and I highly recommend it. That movie is called "Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo", or in English "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time".

It was very enjoyable, and the whole conclusion of the movie was a bit shocking. The ending leaves a lot of questions unanswered, but in a good way that makes you put the pieces together yourself. It definitely made me think, but not to the point of which I would call it a philosophical movie. It was about a female protagonist named Makoto who finds out that she is able to leap through time. Watch it, its definitely good.

It rates high on anime review sites and seemed to have an amazing budget as far as animation. Everything was extremely detailed, excellent animation. Definitely check into it.

The best anime movie is naruto movie 1-2-3 and Inuyasha movies if you like there is a movie that is real new dont sure what it cald It is the newest bleach movie.

naruto move 1-2 werent bad but i dont recomend mov 3 cuase its dmnnn boring

Naruto filler arcs were better than the movies. A total waste of my time, all of them.

lol ya some fillers were even better than moves

Any filler arc in naruto that was 3 or more episodes was better than any Naruto movie.

I love Spirited Away. I hear Akira is really good. I like the Inuyasha movies. And you can't go wrong with the Naruto movies!
