My favorite anime is the Dragonball series, that was the first anime i ever watched. I could watch the series over and over again and id never get tired of it.

DBZ is good, in fact I had a pen pal back when I was a wee little lad of like 4 and guess what he sent me? The first ever DB movie, yay. I still have it, 13 years old, that movie is.

My favorite got to be Yu Yu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Detective Conan. These are one of the 1st animes i used to watch.

This is a question, not a criticism! Can you simply outline why Prince of Tennis is so popular? From what I've read so far, it's seriously about playing tennis and going to tournaments. What other genres are present?

Show me a fanbase as large as this one, and then I'll believe it's popular.
It's mainly about tennis, yes, there's nothing really else present, but I've seen many who don't even know what tennis is, take a liking to the series. There prolly is something else there, but it isn't blatantly obvious. I just know I like tennis, and I like the show, and not because it's about tennis.

I'd have to say my second favorite (because Naruto is my favorite) would be Evangelion. Of course, I haven't watch a lot of different animes. Let's see, I've seen Initial D, Bottle Fairies (very weird), the original Gundam, Kiddy Grade (almost finished series), Maze (very very very very weird), and one Inuyasha movie. I'm kinda interested in seeing Boys Over Flowers because I read about it in some magizene about a month ago.
