the original was better. They messed around with the speeds to much and unbalanced the game a little. The air stalls are a nice addition to as well as the extra attacks each character gets.
Gimme link or samus in the original but in melee i gotta go with captain falcon or falco.

I can't play it anymore, I let my friend borrow it and his little nephew and brother scatched and lost it, still waiting for him to pay back

this is a great multiplayer game. play this game with my friends alot. fav. characters are fox,falco and Dr. Mario

its a good game except they really depowered ness.

I think it's one of the best fighting games....ever. I kick butt with Fox, one of my favorite weapons is the beam sword.

Lol, didn't you know that Kirby was insanely powerful in the N64 version?

i love this game, my fav characeter is fox, and i love pichu, pikachu, kirby and young link.

once again, my characters are falco and mario. straight up.

I like Link the most, but I've only played a few times. A friend of mine owned it. I'm thinking about getting the one for the 64 (I can usually pick up used games at random stores) if I can find it because from what I've seen of it so far it was worth getting.

Yup I've played ssbm, it's one of the best games for gamecube.
