Over the years various anime and manga have been invented and inevitably millions of character have been given 'birth'. Some are super cute and yet super dumb... some are just nice... some are cool but have ego to match that of god... and some are so funny you just can't stop laughing. But of all these character, there must be one character always where he or she is different from everyone... the coolest or the best character.

for me the best character i've met so far is Killua Zaorldyeck from Hunter X Hunter. Even though he's just a 12 year old boy but he is already a proffesional assassin. But that is not what attracts me to him. He treasures his friendship with his friends and readily risk his life for them. But i guess the most interesting part of him is that after 12 years living a life of a caged bird he has finally freed himself and is just discovering the true meaning of life like friendship... sacrifice... and well those things. he also posses power to generate electricity at his own will. that is why I think he is the coolest character ever.

Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV from Cowboy Bebop. Genius, hilarious, and given some practice and time, could kick some serious a**!

Yagami Raito (or Light Yagami) from Death Note.

He's a super genius, athletic, and was able to kill anyone at will.

Or possibly Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Smart, strong, but a little...short. Only if he was taller...

Breakfall Girl from Puni Puni Poemi or however its spelled. She has the power to breakfall from anything. Off a building? No prob. Bullet to the face? With ease. One of the most ridiculous powers from the one of the most ridiculous shows.

However were i to be serious? Claire from Claymore looks pretty cool even tho ive only seen previews

i think the deamon brothers are the COOLEST LOOKING characters. they just appeared in one episode and for a second but they still look cool.

hmmm... I might be tempted ti say Ichigo too, as he has gained so much power, and is still a good guy. Hatsuharu Sohma is really awesome too - I like the leather, and 'black haru'. Also, in the manga, he is something of a space cadet, and says the most wonderful things like 'A man's back is his life'

I like Ed from Cowboy Bebop, as she's a super genius, and usually comes to the rescue!

Also, Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club, as his past is so terrible, yet he is such a nice and caring guy (he's also funny... and cute!)

Urahara from Bleach, as he used to be a shinigami, and is really powerful, and caring, and intelligent (like an older Ichigo with a cute hat!)

Yusuke Yurameshi from Yu Yu Hakusho.

He was always confident, a little cocky in the beginning, but always determined. He was always fighting for something or someone he loved, his relationship with Keiko was great, and he's going to live for a LONG time since he's a demon. I just liked his personality in general even though sometimes he could be a little annoying. And I loved his smart-a$$ comments he ALWAYS made to everybody, especially grandma. He was a great character in every way.

Himura Kenshin man he has no special powers but man hes f**** awesome need i say more

Simca in Air Gear.

Aoshi from Samurai X. Plus points for the trench coats and his nito-kodachi style.
Zoro from One Piece. His 3 sword fighting style is one of the most unique I've ever seen

it's truly a tie with SSJ4 Gogeta,and Gaurdian angel Mushra.

gogeta-come on..this is dragonball z here.no other anime could match goku alone.but fusion!SSJ4?!!!?...'nuff said

G.A.Mushra-however,there's one other fighter to have matched that strength..and he's not too popular either...anyone ever watched shinzo?doubt it.it was a great show.anywho,at the end,the main character mushra regained his former self,which was some angel gaurdian warrior version of him,and he fought this giant guy(they made planet-sized shockwaves fighting around the world in seconds,which is what gogeta can do)

yea,those two are the ultimate characters...followed closely by Broly and Yusuke Urameshi...

I would say hm.. i have 3 charectors:
1. vegeta - because people thought of him as cold as steel even he did he was trained when he was like 5 years old he never had a chance to be anything else then cold but he become a caring charector and gave his life away a few times for friends which is so hard to do once u go into the darkness.
2. zabuza from naruto - Well kinda same as vegeta he was trained as a boy to kill kill! he didnt have much of a chance to do anything else he was mis leaded into being a demon cause he had no parents but he became a caring charector but it was at the end of his life when he attacked around 40 swords men with a dagger in his mouth and killled around half of them which was cool! and he stil was standing with 5 big swords in his back thats courage and the rest of them didnt attack him cause they was afraid of him but he died of his wounds alongside the person he was avenging so sad.
3. Okita Souji from peace maker kuregon - because hes very powerful and he was a actual person years and years ago lool he looks like a girl so that might make people think he was a wuss but he was very powerful but he was suffering from a illness which is sad he was killin people from the age of 9 which is sad too .
