it is a very interesting name for the code named Revolution, I think its pretty nifty, yet strange at first but they said that "Wii" explains it all

As a Nintendo fanboy to the death, I am very distrought.

As long as the Wii holds up in gamplay and performance, it doesnt matter what it is called. I think Wii is a good name, it grew on me after awhile.

well a lot of people already are making jokes about it. but the name really doesn't matter. nintendo should really know how to advertise it or else it won't really kick off that great.
