Does anyone know how to get rich quick? I hear something about "turnips" but i have no clue how to get them, what or where they are! And also I have a coconut and I don't know where i can plant it where it will continue to live! I tried planting one and it died...any help anybody? please?

I heard that if save up a lot of bells, like 500 000, and then set ahead your DS CLOCK 60 yrs, you get a lot of interest.
WARNING: I did hear that you could possibly reset your game!! So I don;t know... I'm too afraid to try it... ALSO you town gets full of weeds and everyone moves out @_@;; and Tom Nook gets depressed!
*I might get my friend to try it since he hasn't played in a month... so no loss for him...

Few tips for getting rich quick.

Every day, go around the town hitting the rocks with your shovel, one of them produces money and it can only be done once a day.
Coconuts be planted near the beach.
Turnips can be bought from Joan every sunday morning.
Run errands for villagers and sell everything they give you.
Devote a few hours of your day to fishing and selling everything you catch.


Uh, which version you playing? Wild World or the Gamecube version?

Oh and DO NOT RESET THE TIME ON YOUR GAME. It causes helluva lot of trouble for you. Trust me, I know. I've done it before.

What kind of trouble? I've done it twice and that Resetti comes up everytime. Also how/where do you get the shovel???

So far i got a bug catching net and a fishing rod

Resetti, loads of weeds, miss important dates, fave characters move out, could miss summat in Nook's that you wanted.

What are you wanting? Just a normal spade or the golden spade?

Normal spade - It just appears in Nook's like the rest of the tools do. (Both Versions, DS and Cube)

Golden Spade - Look around your town for a golden light coming from the ground, dig it up and you'll get 1000 bells. Bury a shovel in that hole and wait a few days. A tree will have grown there, shake it and there you have it. The golden spade! (Only works for the cube version)

Just dig a hole (Doesn't matter where), bury a spade in it. Leave it there for 24 hours then go back and dig it up. And there you have it, a golden spade! (DS version only)

Buy a slingshot from Nook's. It fires one pellet straight up. You gotta time it so you hit the balloon.

Hit 15 presents and the next on that flies across should be a toolbox. Shoot it down and you get the golden slingshot which fires three pellets. One straight up and the other two diagonally

is animal crossing really fun? i haven't got the game but i hear so much about it through gamefaqs and other boards

Yes, Animal Crossing is fun. I've got both the GC and the DS version. I prefer the DS version, it's awesome.

1...................if u want turnips wake up on a sunday morning and look for a sow and she will say something about turnips and ask if u want some they may cost a bit but u get alot in return buy a red turnip and plant it then WATER IT TWICE A DAY TO MAKE IT LIVE AND GROW BECAUSE THE BIGGER THE MORE CASH .then on a saterday get it out of the ground with a shovle and sell it to tom nook ( the least i have goten 4 a red turnip is 16 000 bells ) red turnips give u more monny lol

2....................to plant a coconut plant it like normal but u need to water it 4 like 2 minuits without stopping then the next day repeat ect.

Already mentioned them too. And coconut trees actually have a better chance of surviving when planted near a beach.
