Full Version: Which character changed the most from Naruto to Shippuden?

It's a tie between Sakura (Big change!) and Akamaru (Literal big change! lol) for me. Sakura I would say is now a major need to the group unlike before when she was literally dead weight... and well Akamaru just, grew!

Dude, I agree. Sakura for me. Everyone to me just stayed the same. (Personality wise)

Or maybe Neji, kinda. He's not that much of a jerk anymore. Well actually he changed during pre-time skip. >_< Nevermind

Strength wise would be Sasuke in my opinion. He left Konoha as probably Jounin level and after it was over he was Kage level, pretty big jump there. Sakura was big as well, Naruto not so much (though he makes up for it soon in the manga, you will see =D).

Personality wise? Can't really see much differences really. Probably Garra or perhaps Neji.

Sakura, she obviously became stronger and her knowledge of medical ninjutsu is really good! Akamaru LOL yeah he grew up a lot! Personality wise I think Gaara, gaara01.gif gaara12.gif he changed so much and was even able to smile! Neji also changed but his change wasn't as dramatic as Gaara's.

Change? I will have to say : Akamaru
Back then Akamaru is on top of Kiba head: But right now Kiba is on Akamaru back.
Akamaru: from cute little puppy ---->to a large dog.
The rest of the characters seem to change a bit... their outfit is different

Aside from the fact that there change there clothes and bigger, i think Naruto grew up a lot more. He become more smarter, he uses his shadow clones more intelligent. He dont run after his oppenent and hope he wins. He think befor he made a move.

My choices split in three.

For me its between:

Sakura: Compare to how she was in Naruto where she was truly helpless and she was just their to fill a spot. Now in shippuden not so much. She actually defeated an Akatsuki who I believe was elite jounin level. Yea she had help but she definitely did most of the work for a change.

Sasuke: Strength wise but also personality. To me he seems more rugged and actually, he looks more of an avenger now then he did in naruto..even though he never avenged a thing..

Naruto: Strength wise, intelligence, and personality (personality after his battle with the six realms of Pein)

Sure she was a puppet but regular weapons didn't work against the Kazekage's puppet. Without her strength and lets not forget "antidote" Chiyo couldn't have beaten Sasori either. That antidote she prepared someone like Chiyo couldn't even make, and she had a LOT more experience in medical ninjutsu. Sakura did great and didn't actually freeze and wait for someone to rescue her like she did in Naruto.

Power wise i think its between Sakura n Sasuke...
Sasuke was expected to become stronger n he did bcame stronger n faster which is expected of him...however his attitude n behaviour are still almost the same
Sakura on the other hand became stronger in a few departments,her character are less annoying before.She became a damm gut medical nin,

she managed to find the vacine for Sasori's poison which even Sasori admitted is difficult to do
which kinda strengthen the theory that Sakura became a damm good medical nin, On the other hand her hand to hand combat skill improved tremendously plus her super strength hit....
Basically the improvement rate of her is the biggest compared to before than other character...

After polishing up her taijutsu and medical skills, she really came through. I mean come on, she trained under Tsunade for crying out loud. She basically turned into a mini Tsunade! It's amazing! She probably had to endure a lot, because Tsunade didn't show any mercy, if you saw the flashbacks... LOL

The latest chapters show that Sakura is still kind of selfish and whiny so I lost all respect for her lol.

Actually I'm going to have to say Sasuke for strength and personality wise.

Strength: We've all seen why...

Personality: Mainly because he has completely succumbed to the darkness of his personality now and is pretty much an empty shell of hatred.

I dunt think he has completely darkened so to say because he is still showing y he is a leaf village shinobi. He doesnt kill anyone n he dunt want to kill anyone else except Itachi..

His intentions were to kill Itachi but he never did. In fact right at the end Itachi could have killed him easily but his sickness finally overcame.I agree with hotagi, recent chapters has shown sakura as her old self again but when you take to account what she was and what she became in the transition to shippuden, you can safely say she has definitely changed, majorly. First, figuring out a remedy to sasoris poison which ntraghu mentioned. Then defeating him. Then take to account her strength and medical arts..wow. Not to mention being under the wing of a very, very, very.....(Did I mention very) tough Sensei. Anyhow, Sasuke seems lost to me right now..IMO hes been lost since Itachi died. It seemed that all he lived for was exacting revenge on Itachi which he didn't. Now that he is gone, it looks like Sasuke is a mere puppet and the puppet master being Tobi/madara. Before he died, Sasuke most of the time seemed in control of what to do next now it just seems he is awaiting for an answer or direction. So you can say that he has changed a lot as well

Its true Sasuke is full of hatred and that somehow he always ends up being someones puppet but I think he still has some good in him. He doesnt enjoy killing people that have nothing to do with him (or at least most of the time) and he has had some flashbacks were he remembers good things he had before in Team 7 so... I know this all sounds a lot like Star Wars LOL but he can still come back from the dark side. naruto_smile.gif

Doesn't Sasuke want to destroy the Leaf village though? When Madara activates his Eternal Mangyekou, he said Hawk only has one goal, to destroy the Leaf... Unless he turns good. But that scared me... mellow.gif

True, that's one of his goals right now but he has his moments when his "good" side comes up like not killing randomly etc... like I said its true he's filled with hate but unlike other evil characters he has signs that he can come back from the dark side LOL happy.gif or at least to me there's hope Naruto will bring him back

Edited a few posts and quotes that contained scenes from shippudden and later chapters of the manga. Remember, their are ppl out their that are still in the regular Naruto series. I would appreciate it if from now on, hide the spoilers as I did, so it doesn't ruin it for anyone who doesn't know yet what to come.

I personally think Shikamaru changed the most, he went from a selfish child never wanting to fight, to an adult who knows he HAS to fight to protect those closest to him and his loved ones.
