Yeah I mean they are an ok emo pop band. But seriously you are comparing there type of pop to the best of all time? The people who made the genre (Blink 182) I could understand. They were innovative and did something no one else had done anything like before. So even though I'm not a huge fan of their music I pay them a lot of respect. But MCR have done nothing new there are 1000's of bands out there just like them doing the same thing. It's just hard to take people saying they are the best band of all time.

I guess it's all just a matter of opinion though so if you think they are the best band ever then I guess more power to yah

lol, I also thought about blink-182 the hour I saw that. Well, true. Is like calling Linkin Park the greatest band of all time - I mean, they are a famous band and I actually like them but Rage Against the Machine and Nirvana did the things they do first (and did both better).

It's the same with Machine head too though. They are a nice metalcore band but people were doing it before them and doing it better too.

I just put up my all time favorite bands, because to me, they are th best, because they are my favorite.

To be my favorite, I have to like EVERY SINGLE THING you EVER PUT OUT.

All of the bands I listed fit into that category. Musically, they may not be THE BEST.

But they are to me.

Yeah that's cool. It's just for me my favorite bands are a lot different then what I think the best bands of all time are. Like Iron Maiden is not my favorite band but they were one of the founders of metal and shaped what I listen to today which is why I think they are one of the best. Without them metal would be a lot different.

I second zeriah. There is a huge difference between your fav bands and the best of all time, and also already exists here a topic about fav bands so stop the spamming. Well, let's go:

Led Zeppelin
Why: Led was responsible for a great turn in rock music.
Prince
Why: mixed a lot of genres and created awesome songs.
Nirvana
Why: simply crafted the two best alt-rock albums of all time. The fans of MCR should know this guys.
Blink-182
Why: punk kings hell yeah =D
Eminem
Why: best rapper of all time, almost created a new viewing in music.
