As Christmas draws so very close, and writting a decent story should be under the stress of 3 or 4 days, I decided this is best held as a Winter event.

Firstly, I will establish that there will be 2 judges (Kei, TESM)
the event will run as thus:


The Event:

Your task is to write a short story on 3 characters (minimum). The catch is, these 3 main character will be, somewhat, provided by your judges.
Here's what i mean:

Each judge will give a character in the following format,

Name: Albert
H: 5' 9"
W: 130 pounds (I don't know metric system conversions)
Age: 23
Personality: Cocky, Laid-back
"Ha, you idiot, why worry so much when you got me to protect you?"

and that's it! You have creative liscence to make whatever type of character, whether he/she/it be good, evil, etc.
You may add as many additional main/minor characters as you like as long as those three characters (of the 4 given), and have fun with it! Touch upon any subject, and let the characters do whatever you'd like. Just make it a good story for people to read.

Have the characters love each other, hate each other, have a female character manipulate the male character, the male character be sadistic and cold to the others, have a male character and female character have a fight over something, whatever!

Grading:


90 point grade scale per judge, 180 points total per article turned in.

15 points for diction
How well is everything spelled? Did the sentences has rythm?
25 points for following directions
Did you do what was asked? Did you display the neccesary ammount of detail?
50 points for a 'good' story
Was this wholly enjoyable to read, good use of personalities and characters?

Judges are allowed to participate too! That is why we have 4 judges! Each judge
participating will have the other 3 grade his/hers. same scale, although i ask the
judges grade harder on each other. If I detect favoritism...well.. that's a
no no.

EACH STORY MUST BE SENT TO EITHER ME OR ANOTHER JUDGE VIA PM

At the end of each judging period, a judge will post the story with each others grading and additional comments (judges, please explain why you graded what you did), and rinse and repeat after that till all stories are posted.


Hopefully, all this didn't bore you wayyyy too much, but with that said, I hope judges from all around step foreward, and we can get started ASAP.
