Uchiha Clan

<p>The Uchiha clan resided in Konoha for many years. Their advanced bloodline limit consists of the Sharingan. A red eye that selects a special few Uchiha to possess it. The Sharingan allows it’s user to see through a technique. For example, it can reveal whether a technique is Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kinjutsu, or Ninjutsu. It also has the ability to copy a technique from another Shinobi. Some would argue that the Sharingan is just a cheap way to get around working hard, but for many more advanced techniques that the Sharingan copies, the user must build up the strength and ability to use the technique on his own, something the Sharingan can not provide.

The Sharingan’s most powerful technique is Tsukuyomi. It has the ability to enter another’s mind and create within it Illusions. If the images and the mental pain that it can induce is strong enough, this technique can easily kill a person. When inside the world of Tsukuyomi a minute can feel like a year, or ten minutres a hundred years. Time and space is the users to control. Tsukuyomi was first introduced in Episode 81 of the Naruto series, by Uchiha Itachi. He used it once on Hatake Kakashi and once on his little brother Uchiha Sasuke, nearly killing them both.

Because of the Uchiha clan’s great abilities and long line of extraordinary ninja’s, the clan was revered by Konoha as one of the greatest and most highly praised clans. Sadly, on one dark night the entire Uchiha clan was killed by it’s most powerful member, Uchiha Itachi. He did however leave his little brother, Uchiha Sasuke alive. They are currently the only surviving members of the massacre.</p>
