Awesome ep. I never like Deidara, but he didn't go down like a punk. And I have to thank him for giving one of the best Shippuuden fights so far.

I love that the animators are no longer holding back. Last few eps they didn't try to stretch anything out, this one was jam-packed with lots of surprises. I now wish I hadn't peeked ahead in the manga and ruined the surprise, otherwise the revelation of Madara would have been that much better. But still an amazing ep. Can't wait to see Pain in action.

I think it would have been better if Kishi had waited to reveal Madara until a while after Pain. Now we just see the Akatsuki 'leader' for the first time, but before we can digest that, we find out there's someone even more influential/powerful calling the shots. It kind of diminishes Pain, just a tiny, tiny bit. Orochimaru would have never seemed so badass if Itachi had shown up in the same episode. But I'm not complaining, these last few eps have been amazing.

Give us a double ep, animators, please...
