i have a really long list of good ones but the best ones are (in order):
1 Fruits Basket (way better than the Anime, i swear) 2 Absolute Boyfriend (Shoujo and it's got great humor) 3 Kare First Love (Also Shoujo and a drama) |

I alsolutely recommend Vampire Knight by Matsuri Hino. It is a great shojo manga with beautiful art and beautiful vampires. Oh, their bitescenes in the manga is sensual and exotic. Its currently running in the Shojo Beat magazine and and vol.1 comes out in january.

I'm extremely picky about artwork... so if I don't like it, I won't read the manga, even if it's a good story.
My favorites: 1. Bleach - I've been following this for about two years. <3333333 I would say it's my favorite 2. Deathnote - Very rarely do I get so drawn into the manga within the first volume. The second chapter had me hooked. 3. Prince of Tennis - I'm somewhat of a sports manga fanatic and this is one of my favs. 4. Threads of Time - I like historical manga and this is a really good one. It's a little confusing in the first volume so I would read it a few times, but it really picks up in the second. 5. Peacemaker Kurogane - Another samarai manga, but I really like this one 6. Jing: King of Bandits - CLEVER, CLEVER, CLEVER..... that's all I can say 7. Godchild - I'm not too big on this type of artwork but the story is excellent. I'm looking forward to further installments 8. Fushigi Yugi: Genbu Kaiden - If you remember the original Fushigi Yugi, then you will recall that the god, Genbu was the first to be summoned. if u happen to be a love hina type of guy, i suggest try and check out ichigo 100%, Suzuka, or I's. since they are somewhat romance/comedy/echi.

... Well, since most of the series I'd want to recommend have been said, there's only one left. xD
Flame of Recca - if you watched the anime, then you'd grasp what's happening. In the manga, it tends to be in sync, but in the later chapters, it becomes different, plus the second arc is even better than the UBS. The art would be pretty, uh, kinda low at the start, then it tends to improve somewhere in the middle of the first arc. -------------------- |

I am reading a slightly new manga in the U.S. and it, I dare say, one of the best ive ever read(besides Naruto). It is created by Tite Kubo, sound familiar?, the guy who created Bleach. There is only 4 but is the best ever. #3 just came out. Awsome!!!!!!!

I totally Recommend Fairy Tale by Hiro Mashima (Groove Adventure Rave A.K.A: Rave Master)
It is simply......AMAZING! I love this manga and world so much. In fact, it has sky-rocketed to the top with it's amusing comedy and deep storyline....Dare I say that, I actually prefer this over Naruto, Bleach, and D-Gray Man O_O If you haven't heard about it....Just check it out, it is quite interesting ^^ --------------------  QUOTE Deny it all you want, but you are probably the most fragile of us all.
