I havent been able to find ep 11 yet. It seems like all the anime I watch has been released late this week. I will be dissapointed if I cant watch death note tonight.

DAMN! New Death Note totally took me by surprise! Another death note? I guess the other shinigami are gettng jealous

This was kind of like a filler though. Not a normal filler, but a transition into the next arc. It introduced someone else, and a new plot. Next week's episode will be one that I will highly anticipate. I cant wait for that one, will be very intense.

I dont even know who to root for. What Light is doing is against my morals, but I do want to see him get far. I wonder if he will slip up in L's eyes when he is not told that this is a fake Kira? I bet he will bring it up immediately. Light is smart enough to realize that this new way of going at the murders is way different, and evidence points to it not being Kira. So interesting, I wish there were more people to discuss this with than just myself. I want to discuss this with people who have not read the manga, so lets hear your premonitions!

This is the best Anime EVER!!!!!!! Episode 11 was very unexpected, never expected there to be another death note. Awesome.

They are both about the same I think. But I prefer TW's for some reason.

I don't know what happens between episode 9-11 but didn't they say at the beginning that Ryuk dropped two death notes? It wouldn't be unexpected to me.

From what I saw, there is another shinigami doing the same thing as Ryuk. Kind of interesting, but I am sure they will catch her quickly enough.

I prefer the subs that come out quicker, and in this case it is the TW's who come out first. They both seem to have about the same subbing quality, which is pretty good. Though I do tihnk the quality of Lie Evil is a bit better, but it doesnt really mattr because they are both decent fansubs.

I download mine in RM from AnimeGelade. When does it usually get subbed by?

Well when the shinigamis are playing poker, one of them says "I heard Ryuk has two Death Notes", so he dropped one and still has the other because he says to Light "When The Death note is finished I get to write your name in my Death Note"

So I'm not sure that he dropped two death notes. Plus there is meant to be a different shinigami that is meant to be checking on Ryuk, so who knows what will happen with that one.

Yea, they definitely show a different shinigami at the end of the episode. And you are right, Ryuk still has his other death note in his posetion.

Light will not fall for L's trick. I cant wait until thursday or friday when the next episode coms out.

Oh by the way, I better warn you that there is no new episode this week. Instead it will be a recap episode (11.5). Next week there will be a new episode.

NOOOO! That sucks, I really need to see more. You say its an episode though, right? At least that is better than nothing, but dammit.

Well yeah there is meant to be an episode, but there is no guarantee that it will be subbed. I don't understand what Japan airs at Christmas time, it seems like it just stops putting everything good on.

WOWWW! this anime is absolutely.. AMAZING. However, they could have EASILY made this show much longer than it is currently and by the looks of it, I doubt this will last more than 35-40 total episodes.

Instead of starting where they did, they should have started way earlier in the story line. For example, they should have made the case Masimu Naomi (that ex-FBI lady) worked in with L into an arc(when L found out that she went missing, his reaction made it seem that she was a very important person and makes me wonder what she did in that case). Then, they could have shown more stuff about L and the other cases he took part in. The fact that they showed L's face so early kind of ruined the show. Other stuff like making an arc to build on Light's personality and character prior to him obtaining the Death Note and other stuff like this would have made L's unmasking even better. There were a lot of other things I had in mind but I somehow forgot them all -_-.

Anyway, good anime but I hope it doesn't end soon.

^^ I disagree. This anime is flawless thus far, and that would have made it not as good as it is now. We dont need to know the past, and if they tell us, discussing it or brief flashbacks are good enough for me. Death Note is perfect as is, they didnt need to add a boring lead in.

Not all good anime has to be 100 episodes long. I think that this anime would be good with only 26 episodes, but 37 (I think they have it slated for) is good enough for me. More than 26 so they can have more character development, and less than 50 to avoid repitition. It is a good medium between being too short and undeveloped, and too long and monotonous.

Yeah 37 eps is what Wikipedia says. But it's good, cause it's not like Naruto where everything goes so damn slow >_<

I dont think it matters because they didnt sub it. It would have came out last week, and released subbed by friday or saturday. It was never done, so I would just wait for the one to come out this week.
