Dead Leaves...The Summary. Pandy and Retro are two unlikely renegades who awaken naked on Earth with no recollection of their past. They embark on a crime spree for food, clothing and transportation but are captured by authoritites and sent to the infamous lunar penitentiary named Dead Leaves. While incarcerated, they soon discover than Dead Leaves is also a top-secret cloning facility that is occupied by villanous guards and deformed genetic experiments. Retro and Pandy, know they need to get out of there and even with the rest of the inmates on their side, will they ever make it out of Dead Leaves? Now then, here is a screenshot from Dead Leaves.  First off, Dead Leaves has been brought to you by the combined teamwork Manga Entertainment and Production I.G., who brought you clasics like Blood: The Last Vampire, Ghost in the Shell and the Kill Bill Anime Scene. But be warned, this movie is Rated R - for violence, nudity, language and adult situations. Don't let the screenshot fool you, this isn't some kids anime. Dead Leaves is more fast-paced and grotesque than Hellsing and even crazier than FLCL. I mean one of the main characters, Retro has a TV for a head and another, Chinko, has a enormous drill over his crotch. This anime was definitely going off the board as an experimental anime, it was truly amazing. The whole thing is so vivid and so colorful and all 50 minutes of it keep you on the edge of your seat, with it's incredibly fast-paced action. And it has a good soundtrack, which is always a plus for me. I don't really care what your genre of choice could be, this is definite MUST SEE for any anime fan. Dead Leaves is an unusually fresh anime that will make you wake up smell the coffee. Never before has an anime of this degree ever been performed. This anime made me dizzy from watching it. the movie never stops, theres no pauses. With all this nonstop action on the screen its hard to focus your attention and any one thing. I loved the style and some of the ideas they were playing around with artistically. I guess people have to watch it for themselves
