I was wondering if anyone had heard of this manga and anime series. It's called Shaman King, and has spirits and ghosts as well as humans in it. I'm horrible at explaining, so I'll type what's on the back of the first book:
To most people, ghosts are the stuff of horror stories and nightmares. But to Yoh Asakura, a transfer student at Shinra Private Junior High, they're his friends! Yoh Asakura is a shaman- one of the gifted few who can speak to spirits. By channeling ghosts into his body- like the long-dead samarai Amidamaru- he can allow them to possess him and use their powers. But a modern-day shaman faces great responsibilities, because spirits- and the people who work with them- can be very dangerous indeed... Anyway, I just wanted to ask about it. I particularly like it because of the characters and storyline. i heard of it i watched it, it wasn't that bad it was on wb saturday mornings. (is the english version worser than the subbed.)

Yeah, it is. I bought the anime series and watched it then. I like the manga better, though. Ren was my favorite character.

I don't think the last episode was all that good. It was like Yoh just magically beat Zeke because of friendship. It seemed like the episode went by really fast to me. Oh well, I still liked the whole series though.^^

I seen it quite awhile back, I think that through the episodes it got a bit complicated with all the crazy moves and such. My favorite character would have to be the guy with the Elvis haircut, can't recall his name for the life of me.

This anime is really good and I really love. It's sad that the story ended so soon.
(Are they planning to have another season?) Anywayz, I haven't seen the manga before. I am planning to read (buy or borrow) one in the near future.
